Almonds are known as the kings of nuts because of their popularity, great taste, multiple uses and health benefits. They are indeed a rich source of polyunsaturated fats, B vitamins, vitamin E, calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, and zinc.

These sweet nuts provide essential minerals, magnesium, potassium, vitamins, and heart-friendly monounsaturated fatty acids. Rich in anti-oxidants these nuts rejuvenate the skin and hair. Macadamia nuts have a crunchy and sweet taste with a nutty aroma. 


Pecan nuts are the products of the hickory tree and contain 19 vitamins and minerals! They have especially high levels of potassium, phosphorus and magnesium. They are also a good source of vitamin A, a useful boost for the immune system and fights inflammation.


Pine nuts are high in protein which makes them especially useful in a vegetarian diet. They contain high levels of vitamins A, E and K. Vitamin E, along with all its other uses, is a handy antioxidant. Vitamin K regulates the calcium levels in our blood and is involved in maintaining healthy bones.

Probably best known for their use in pesto sauce, pine nuts have a very delicate taste and texture that are especially good in salads. They can be eaten raw, when they have a soft texture and a sweet buttery flavour or toasted as this brings out their flavour and adds a little extra crunch.


Walnuts originate in the Mediterranean region and have been part of the human diet for thousands of years. In addition to their antioxidant properties, they are high in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and very low in cholesterol, keep the brain in good health.

Walnuts are meaty nuts with a fresh flavor. They are a great addition to cakes, muffins, homemade mueslis, and a superb toping for healthy salads.
